We all love a cool new trend! Whether it's a new clothing style, hairstyle, interior style, or new hobby, people love new! However trends come and go as we evolve. Some come and go faster than others depending on exposure. We love new, until new isn't as shiny and bright anymore. There are some design trends I've been loving in this new season and I will be sharing if I think it's here to stay or will be recycled and repurposed in a few years.
Design Trend #1: Sketchy Illustrations Reflecting on how March came and went so quickly, I'm learning to prioritize organization and achievable goal setting standards. I'm sure we all wish we could do so much more with our days. Starting out the new month, and listing out 3 big goals I want to achieve, followed by 3 smaller goals that can carry over to May if needed. To hold myself accountable, I will be sharing my April goals below.
1. Create custom newspaper template 2. Begin new branding project for a new business 3. Develop crochet pattern
Design Trend #2: Bold, Unconventional Color Combinations - Get outside within 10-15 minutes after waking up. Sunlight is your friend, but definitely wear your SPF! - Make something with your hands. Get creative! - Get yourself a treat during the middle of the week. My go-to has been an acai bowl. You don't need a reason to give yourself something special. Celebrate being you and living.
